Richards brings a strong technical background to his new role. He has significant insecticide experience in research and development with DuPont and Corteva Agriscience. He has worked with biologicals focused on seed applied insecticides has a strong foundational knowledge with the diamide (chlorantraniliprole and cyantraniliprole) class of chemistry. He is also a member of the Entomological Society of America.
In his new role based out of FMC’s corporate headquarters, Richards will return to the Philadelphia area, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biological studies and environmental science at Eastern University. He also holds a master’s degree in agroecology from the University of Florida.
