hello Troon awards $100,000 in DE&I scholarships to four college programs - Statewide Turf Equipment

has awarded $100,000 in scholarships this year to support diversity within
respective university hospitality, PGA Golf management and turf sciences
programs. Students attending the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s PGA
Golf Management Program; the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ College of
Hospitality; the University of Alabama’s College of Hospitality; and Penn State
University’s Turf Sciences College each received $25,000 scholarships over the
last nine months.

“As one of this year’s recipients,
I wanted to express how grateful I am,” said Kassidy Powell, who
received the
Troon Diversity, Equity & Inclusion scholarship at Penn State in October.
“I’m preparing to graduate at the end of the spring semester and receiving this
scholarship will allow me the opportunity to spend next semester not stressed
about money. I hope that the relationship between Troon and Penn State
continues into the future as I believe that it can be extremely beneficial to
other Penn State students.”

The Troon SE&I scholarship
program is committed to providing educational assistance to students from
diverse backgrounds seeking to enter the field of hospitality, including hotel
and restaurant management, professional golf management, and turf sciences. The
program will award a $25,000 scholarship to students at the four universities
enrolled in PGA professional golf management, hospitality management or turf sciences
